This involves a C/C that went into default, A/C sold to Debt buyers, and almost as soon as the purchase was collected the debt went to Court, now the first action of the Debt owner was to add compound interest, after many years and endless phone calls, they had to re, fund a large amount (thousands) by order of the Ombudsman. At this time the Debt buyer went to court and applied for a charging order, although once they bought the debt and a Court order was in place there was not one payment missed as payment was made through the bank D/D, as the debt is now half paid, there was a call made to the Debt buyer requesting a settlement figure, point blank refusal.
