I paid a car parking fine (in person) of £160 to a "high profile "company of solicitors, on behalf of my daughter. I received a letter from them to say the Ccj that they had issued was now cancelled, which they did whilst I was there. However, when I next saw my daughter, she said the Ccj had not been cancelled as she had received a letter of confirmation of it. This ruined our relationship as she did not believe I had paid it. I had "filed" the letter and only recently found it. Is it too late to do anything about it now as this happened six years ago. Thank you.
