  • Nolans Letter Scotland

    Hi,

I have received a letter today from.Nolans for a cabot financial debt (originally Aqua) cabot obtained a decree although i never signed for any court papers or received them.

Where do i stand as until now have not communicated with anyone since last payment in 2021.

I have large debts elsewhere and have no communication with any of them.

Can i continue to ignore these letters or what can i do?

Not in a position to make payment at the moment and dont want to go down the bankruptcy route as i am a power of attorney for my terminally ill husband.

Any advice would be apprxiated appreciated

    Hi INARUT

    Welcome to LB

I'm really sorry to hear about you husband.

    Don't ignore the 'decree'.

You need to contact CAB (details in link).

What you might be able to do, is fill in an income and expenditure form, take into account the Cost of Living, energy, food etc.

Provide your personal circumstances, i.e. that your husband 'is in health' etc.
