Hi Guys,
Wondering, so my car was given a pcn in a London loading/unloading bay at 8.47am during the loading hours between 8.30am - 7pm, the driver was delivering 2 boxes to a Charity shop that we were donating some toys and children's clothes. The shop wasn't open so driver left the boxes on the door step of the Charity shop like has been done in the past and it could've only taken 3/4 mins tops as it was just around from where the car was parked around the corner 50 metres away. There was no ticket on the car and the driver never saw a warden when they got out of the car or when they returned, i received the ticket in the post a week or so later.
i did appeal the the local council and received a letter today asking to see delivery notes etc. Its a Charity shop, that was closed at the time, so i don't have any receipts. I will pop into the shop tomorrow but i can't imagine they will be able to help if they didn't see the driver when dropping the delivery off. What do you think, do i suffer the PCN and pay it or is there a chance i would get off if i appeal?
At the moment its £65, but will double in 14 day. What do you reckon?
Thanks
