    Hi, as I知 preparing final accounts for an estate I知 executor for my late parents Estate and asking if could anyone confirm wether I can claim mileage expenses for attending the Property on a regular basis for security and maintenance checks ?

    Can't think why you shouldn't claim that providing it was a reasonable amount to cover your out of pocket expenses and no more, no profit to you.

    Executors are legally obliged to maintain and secure the property until it is transferred to the beneficiaries, or sold, so the cost of carrying out that duty is a legitimate expense.
