  • Lowell’s CCJ - Enforcement action threats

2016 Original loan taken out £2k

Non payment and interest fees added before being eventually passed to Lowell - debt £8k

    2020 CCJ issued

I would like to know if enforcement action in terms of forced bailiff entry allowed? I was under the impression this wasn’t allowed as it was a consumer debt but the threatening letters seem to suggest otherwise.

Any advice welcome. Thanks in advance

    Hi UNKNOWNSAS

    Welcome to LB

Can you tell us a bit more about the circumstances leading to the CCJ?

Are there any personal circumstances, health, unemployment etc?

      Hi

      Thank you.

It was from everyday loans, I was self employed at the time, the loan was a last-ditch attempt to try and save my business but it went under. I was unemployed for 2 years after and did not make any payments.
