Hi, I am so worried as I did steal £6 necklace from H&M tgen I was stupid enough to pay for a £19 bag with my husband’s credit card on the same occassion . I put the necklace tag in a pocket of a pair of trousers on the rack in the shop. I’m worried that a staff will see that tag then go and check on CCTV and see me put it there then recognises me that I was the one who buy that bag so she will try to get my contact details from the card- maybe she will ask from the bank who issued that card. Then tells police to come around. It’s almost 6 am and I can’t sleep. I’m so worried. I’m on dependent visa and still need to apply for further stages of visa. I don’t want to have criminal record then it will affect my visa application. I have a daughter here in London so I want my visa to be ok then I can live with her. Please anyone give me advices. I know it was wrong to shoplift and I don’t think I will do it again. It’s not worth the worry I create.
