  • Consent Order to set aside a CCJ

I'd be grateful for advice on this and where I can get a template for a Consent Order please. I'm looking to settle my daughter's debt but she'll still be left with a CCJ for the next 3 years. She moved a month before the CCJ was sent (November 2020) and has only learned of the CCJ when she was sent a text recently from the claimant, threatening an attachment of earnings. She checked her credit file and learned of the CCJ and who was now chasing the debt. . I don't want to dispute the debt but if the claimant agrees, I want to have the CCJ removed on the grounds that the papers went to a previous address at the height of Covid. The CCJ will impact on her ability to rent/ buy property in the future.

    Hi Starfisher

    Welcome to LB

The thing to remember is don't pay anything until the set a side has been granted by the Court, even then small steps.
