  • Historic Divorce

This is a bit of a weird one.
My parents divorced about 20 years ago.
Around the divorce my mother left to live with her boyfriend abroad with no contact with me or my sister and my dad looked after my and my sister.
He passed away last year and while going through his things I came across the divorce documents he had kept.
In the transcripts I read that the amount of money my mother was claiming for was to be able to get a property for herself and the children (me and my sister)
She was awarded the amount and at the time my dad had to sell our family home which is now worth over 1.5 million to be able to pay for what she has asked for.
However since the divorce our mother has had no contact with us.
No calls, no birthday cards. no christmas cards, not even checking up on us or giving us a phone number we can reach her on.
I find it really unfair that we had to sell our family home so she could be awarded an amount "to look after us" and instead she used it to go off and never be heard from again.

Is there anything i can do legally?
