Anyone gone to court over a Pixsy case?

I've had great advice from many sources including this site. And am thankful for that.

After going back and forth since August, yep, threats and demands since August, it's reached its end point - for me anyway - in terms of staying in contact unless legal proceedings go ahead. In the latest email, I made an offer and it was rejected. I won't be making another. It was based on my current quite bad financial situation.

I don't see any referring to a CC2.0 image lacking attribution but I think it seems your situation is different.

You'll get more threats when you don't respond. It's a question of expenses, and for them to take it to court would cost far more than even the demanded fees.

I'll update further as the month goes forward.

I've ended my communication with them after sending a final email which made an offer based on my bad financial situation. That offer was rejected this week. So it's just a question of whether it will go legal.

Mine is over a CC2.0 image but I think you're situation differs.

The threats won't stop. I've had ultimatums since August and they've never stuck to those but I have responded usually a week or two later. Though they took 4 weeks or more to get back to me on a few occasions. But as pointed out, the costs involved of pursuing through the IPEC outweigh the demanded fees. Unless their client has a cheap lawyer in the UK. Doubtful. They seem to bank on people getting too worried or too fed up of threats and then just paying.
