  • Charging Order Older than 20 years ago

I got a charge order against my property for over 21 years ago, it's only £5000 but solicitors fees to remove is £3000, and I tried asking Court Service if I could pay them direct, they could not help me, I asked who I should pay this charge order to remove from Land Registry, they unable to direct me to right area. I want to pay my debt but where? Land Registry inform me that once I have paid thry require proof of payment together with CN1 form, but where can I make the payment

    1. Have you written to the address shown on the Land Registry entry for the charging order?

    2. Can you please post the exact wording of the entry for the charging order on your Land Registry title.
