I really do not know who I should talk to

I unvested via a financial adviser ten years ago in Prestige fund which was worth £250K three years ago when I applied to redeem as Im in my latter years (76) and now need the money. Prestige advised that I cannot redeem because many investors want to do so and we have to wait our turn and I was told it might be 3-5 years..... its now three years and the fund is already £75K down and I still cannot obtain any information other than I have to wait...years more...I dont have years more... and down it goes as they did pay out many others on the old NAV but not me. Now they won't talk to me (I dont have a FA any more as he turned out to be very unprofessional ) except they say this fund has now been taken over by Capital .( whoever they are ) ..I tried to talk to capital but they refuse to talk to me . It seems my life investment can slowly go to nothing and there is nothing I can do. This investment is through an insurance wrapper , hansard in Ireland. Hansard just say they cannot advise.....and I can only sit and do nothing as my life investment dwindles maybe to nothing..... it seems that trying to redeem money from a fund means nothing if they dont want to pay.... all this is extremely depressing for me..... can anybody give me guidance please.

Are Capital regulated? you need to find avenues of complaint, is there a Financial Ombudsman you can complain to?
