I purchased a car VW Golf black colour on 4/5/2023 from a dishonest dodgy private seller. She got finance from The Car Loan Centre Basidon on 22/4/2023. Without telling me she sold the car to me for £7500 and I am an innocent private buyer. I paid full cash and she transferred the car to my daughter’s name. On 10/07/23, the car was repossessed by the finance company and now for sale on their website.
The finance company has got the car, the dishonest seller robbed £7500 and I am empty handed. Polce says it's a civil fraud case and they can not help, finance company says get help from the police, the insurance company has voided the claim.

Any help, please
What is an innocent purchaser right ?
Do I have good title to the car?

You should speak to a solicitor about your rights and how you can proceed. Have all the paperwork to hand along with dates and notes of what happened and what was said, when you talk to the solicitor.
