    Hi everyone,
need some advice pls, I'm a executor of my late father's will that went through probate but only paid the Solicitors to fill the forms in for me as I did everything else I have distributed the monies from the estate according to the will just some jewellery to sort out but my brother is asking for details of banks and receipts which I have but do I have to give a full statement of the in and outs of the banks as I only got the date of death statement, 1 was a joint account with my father and he wouldn't of wanted them to look at his finances he never trusted them that's why I was appointed executor another 1 I forgot to get a statement at the time and it was a old account with a bank book which they destroyed and I drew out the cash which went on work for the house at the time I have receipts for them, I went back to the bank today to ask for a statement but they could only give me a statement which just said the date it was closed and how much was drawn out. Are these sufficient or will I have to get full statements.
    thankyou

That is going to depend on whether your brother is satisfied by what you show him.
