  • Capquest / Arrow / Drydens

Good afternoon, after a little pointer as to what to do next. Basic scenario old debt (since 2007) been paying an amount for ages. Out of the blue (March) they send it to drydens who file a claim to the courts (June), I read in this forum found a thread about a CPR 31.14 request which I sent them, they say cant find anything close the court case and send my 'debt' back to Arrow.

So if I understand correctly they no longer have the original contract that ties me to paying and therefore I can reply to them as such?

It's also worth noting they've not taken off the costs for them filing at court and then not being able to 'go further'.

Many thanks in advance for any advice!

    Hi JOWYLE

    Welcome to LB

You can stop paying until they produce the agreement, until then the debt is 'unenforceable'. You could write to them, make sure you get Proof of Postage.
