  • wiping off unenforceable loans, credit cards etc.

Does anyone know the best company to go to for wiping off unenforceable credit agreements etc. there are so many of them out there with different criteria, i.e. £295 per card £495 per card, no kick-back at the end or 25-30% which has to be paid on amount wiped. One allows people to pay the amount monthly.

So far have heard of Cartel, MSLAS (Mis Sold Loan Advisory Service) who are part of AIAS Ltd (Accident Insurance Advisory Service)

So totally confused but would really like to go for it with someone!!!!!:tinysmile_cry_t:

So you think you could get rid of your debt using these companies, a debt which could be negotiated down and a payment sorted if you contacted your creditor

But if the firm are sucessful and write off your debt you will be charged a fee by them (as well as the initial fee you have already paid), and i'm damn sure they will want that straight away and will be taking YOU straight to court to get it, and there's a good chance they will use the Statutory Demands trick, and although you may have written off a large debt, the company that helped you may now be the ones filing for bankruptcy against you.
And as you couldn't manage payments to sort your original debt you have probably no chance of raising their fees plus costs and interest to stop it proceeding

        Easy way out?

It could cost your House, savings, everything

If you want help and advice on how to deal with your creditors and maybe claim back any charges, we will be pleased to help you with that.

A lot of these companies promise things they cant achieve, and people are coming unstuck using them.

We would rather help people deal with things thereself and if you want us to help you do that, then we will.

Just let us know some more info on your situation and we can take it from there.

My advice would be not to touch any of these companies with a bargepole. We will help all we can to sort out your financial problems, and get back on top of things. If you would like do do this then if you could provide more details of your situation we will know where to start. If you do not want to post details on the open forum, please pm one of the Site Team.

                Sarfendsandie,

sounds like you are in my neck of the woods, i live in Basildon.

Anyway welcome to the site, i think what you need to understand is that this site is about helping people who have had financial problems and are fighting to get some problems resolved with their creditors.

If you legitimately owe people money then i guess what others are saying is you should be paying it back.

However, if you are facing a mounting debt problem because of charges, potential ccjs etc then this site can be of help.

And despite some of the earlier postings seeming a little blunt, these people will help if they can, they're a good bunch.

The companies you mention are generally a bunch of parasites and will probably not be able to deliver what they promise and will typically only cause you further financial problems.

please post up what your situation is and then people will be able to give you some good advice.

Don't be frightened they don't bite, well only a little and then you have to ask nicely!!!

Enaid is correct we don't advocate using the law to escape your liabilities but to make it clear neither are we here to moralise so if you feel it's what you want to do then sobeit.

As for the claims companies unless they offer, in writing which most don't, a cast iron guarantee that you will receive ALL of your compensation + COSTS then forget it.

If your in difficulty come here & we will try to help part of which will be looking at your agreements to see if they are enforceable

forgot to mention if your simply looking to have your debts scrubbed then there will be no money coming in to pay a firm to act for you unless they are a solicitor & can claim costs from the other side

Re: wiping off unenforceable loans, credit cards etc.

It's all a question of motive.

If the over zelos card company has issued a defalt notice on you or is seeking enforcement through a court of law (despite the fact they owe you charges)and it turns out that the paper work is incorrect thus unenforcable why wouldn't you want to hold the company to account and get the card written off. I cant think of a better way to reek revenge on them. They deserve it!

However, if you think you can go and max your card then have it written off you are moving towards the criminal side of morality. You can take your chances with these companies but at £300 up front plus 30% of the write down you may be better advised writting a letter agreeing to settle the balance of the account for £300 +30%.

In short if the card company issue against you its ok to bite back

If you are looking to leg over the company, it's your lookout.

That's my opinion others may well differ.
The charges coming in to the banking industry every day will more than pay the banks total legal bill for the whole test case so why wouldn’t the Banks want to "ensure Justice at the highest level"

OP whatever your motives they're YOUR motives & you certainly don't have to justify your actions to me. Nor I might add do I have any right to question them................. You want help then ask
