Hi there,
My sister-in-law had a data breach upheld by the Information Commissioners Office(ICO) a few years back and it has become apparent that the breach itself has caused her some significant distress(which I wish we had known about sooner). I know the normal time limits for claiming is six years but I have a feeling it is three years for psychological issues(which I guess you would class this as). If any one with a far better grasp of these laws and limits which surround Data Protection and GDPR than I do then I would be extremely grateful for your advice on this as the last thing she needs is false hope. Thanks in advance.
