Hi,
Back in December my wifes car broke down at Strensham services on the M5. The AA couldnt attend so she was sat there for 7 hours waiting recovery. Due to the temperatures, I left work and drove to the services and parked behind her. As my car was warm my wife joined me in my car. So we were both issued with parking notices from CP Plus for over staying our welcome. Thankfully my wife submitted the report from the AA and her ticket was torn up. However my appeal didnt go well. So I went to Popla and they also turned my case away. So now I have a final bill of £170 to pay in the next 14 days. My question is really, as it was freezing, it was night time, my wife wasnt anywhere near the main services building so not walkable but instead in the fuel station area. Should I as a responsible husband just leave her there alone for 3 hours (the time I was there). My question is really I guess I need to pay up now with all options exhausted?
