  • Damage to driveway

    Hi
looking for some advice if I may.
We have had a small extension built on our bungalow. We agreed prior to signing contract with company that skip’s could be placed on the resin driveway if they were placed on something to protect driveway. We had 3 skips and none of them were placed on anything to protect the driveway (i raised this at the time). The extension is now complete however I have not paid the remainder of the bill ~ £3000. The company have visited twice to view damage and have send a resin installer who said the cracks and dents in driveway could not be fixed and also their own builders who stated the driveway hadn’t been laid correctly. We moved into the bungalow 2022 and believe the driveway to be approximately 2 years old so cannot comment on how/who laid it. Despite asking for an update on what they plan to do the company has gone silent. I have been let to believe that to lift and replace driveway would be in excess of 8K. What do you advise my next course of action should be?
    many thanks!
