  • County Court Claim Form Received - PARKING CONTROL MANAGEMENT (UK) LIMITED

I posted this thread in another section of the forum, unsure how to move so adding one here for assistance pls.

I have received a country court claim form from Parking Control Management (UK) Ltd. This is the first time I have received anything like this and would really appreciate any assistance as to next steps?

    Please see details below:

    Received a claim?: Yes

    Issue Date: 13 Apr 2023

Have you Acknowledged the Claim?: Yes

    Total Amount Claimed : £300

Claimant’s Name: PARKING CONTROL MANAGEMENT (UK) LIMITED

    Solicitors Firm: GLADSTONES SOLICITORS LIMITED

    Original Creditor: N/A

Original Debt (eg. Credit card/Loan/Overdraft) : PARKING CHARGE NOTICE

Particulars of Claim: ( Please type out in full excluding names/account numbers/exact amounts ): N/A

Is the debt Statute Barred (have you had any contact with the creditor or claimant over the last 6 years?): N/A

List any letters you have sent (eg: CCA/ CPR ): NONE

Any Other Information or Background Details: As per the claim pack, I seemingly parked in a 'breach of the terms of parking stipulated on the signage' when parking at a leisure park complex back in September-22 for which I was apparently issued a PCN (I don't recall receiving the PCN...). This has resulted in a ludicrous claim for £300!

Edit: Whilst I do acknowledge I was in the car park that day, I don't recall parking anywhere that would be in breach of terms. Additionally I don't recall receiving and notice of PCN.

    thank you in advance!!

Ok, that's the first hurdle sorted.
Have you ID'd whoever was driving at the time of alleged contravention? (Just 'yes' or 'no', please).
Have you previously used the appeals process? (1st & 2nd tier).
Did you receive a letter before claim/PAP response pack, & if so, how did you respond? (ie the content of the response).
Is the vehicle privately owned? Hire/lease? Company vehicle?
Just to confirm, is this an England/Wales matter? (Either where the alleged contravention occurred, &/or your country of domicile).

              Was there a windscreen pcn?
Do you have the original postal Notice to Keeper?
If 'yes' to either/both, please post up redacted copies, front & rear as necessary.

Do you have legible photos of site signs?
              Post them up if 'yes'.
