Hi everyone, I live in the bottom house of a terrace row. I need to leave access at the side of my dwelling for neighbours to go round the backs of their houses which is fair enough. I get complaints from some that they don’t have enough room to turn with trailers etc. I am the only house in the row that has this problem. I would like to know the minimum requirement I need to leave. I heard it was 9 feet but not sure. I leave 13 feet at the narrowest point and people still move my bins to get around the backs of the houses. What are my rights.

You need to start by looking at the terms of the rights of way over this piece of your land. The question is what rights others have over your land, and not whether you have allowed space for whatever they choose to drive.
Where are they going with their trailers? Are there garages at the rear?Lawyer (solicitor) - retired from practice, now supervising solicitor in a university law clinic. I do not advise by private message.
