I have been issued with a claim from dcb legal working for UKPC for £500+ for a parking charge that is 4 years old. I am weighing up whether I should defend this. The incident happened in an area where resident permits were required but signage didn’t make this clear. The claim covers two days of parking, so two tickets plus ‘damages’ and interest. The problem is I have no photographic evidence from that time. Their signage has now been updated. Street view pictures are from 2015. The claim says ‘the driver agreed to pay within 28 days’. Totally untrue as they don’t know who the driver was. I am the registered keeper. Any advice or thoughts, much appreciated
