Are there any members who do voluntary work who can tell me exactly what information you are allowed to share about someone who you may have contact with? An elderly relative spoke about her wellbeing problems to a volunteer at a club she attends. It now seems as if this volunteer has forwarded her "concerns" to others in my relative's community - as in: "keep an eye on her" - and she keeps getting complete strangers in the street and supermarket, asking her "how she is". She thinks these people are all involved in charities and other voluntary groups in her area. One volunteer who works for a charitable transport scheme, keeps stopping outside her house and looking in on her. She contacted the charity twice about it. At first they said they would speak to this person, but he didn't stop. The next time she complained, they ignored her. It seems more and more of her neighbours appear to know a lot about her circumstances and it has robbed her of all her privacy. Has anyone else experienced this, and what did they do to stop it? Many thanks.

This issue has been posted by the OP in detail previously on the site although I recall the issue was about people "safeguarding" them personally when they did not need it. .
I hope that they get the responses they need.
