    Hi
Have an empty house I own that today, was entered by a company debt collect for Scottish Electricity. They had locksmiths in and changed the front door locks & had changed the meter to a pay meter. I was so taken back I did not ask to see a court order.
Have they the right of entry to my property I am in a position to demand an immediate return to change meter back as can only use £25 on pay meter before it runs out and have my own locksmith put new lock in.

In the English courts several letters must be sent before the matter is brought to magistrates and a home visit has to happen I believe. If nothing works an order to enter will be made and the meter changed. I do not know why they would change the locks?
