    Daughter getting divorce,all property in joint names, but husband wants my daughter to transfer her joint half of a field over to him so he will be the sole owner, she is happy to do this, but she would like to place a restrictive covenant on the land. Is it possible to do this?.

    What is the nature of the proposed restriction?

        Why not agree a term that she shares in any uplift in value of this land? I have seen examples of such agreements - the wording can be quite complicated.
