To Update, I have submitted my defence to the courts and still waiting for a response. I requested a SAR from both EON and the debt collection agency they are working with and have received next to nothing information back. Its as if they don't have any information relating to me.

EON have now gone on to lodge a default on my credit file which I think is outrageous as up until I put my defence claim in and requested a SAR they did not even appear on my credit file. Can they do this?
Yes they can, but they need to follow their Terms and Condition's in case of default of account. You need to phone the court up for an update, as they lodged their claim in January 2023, I'm surprised that the case hasn't moved on. Send a chase letter regards SAR.

      Thank you

The case hadn't moved on because I went into Mental Health Breathing Space for 3 months. Eon Next had no involvement with it directly until I asked for a SAR, this is the first I have heard from them directly for years. It was only the debt company chasing payment so I'm confused as to why EoN next have jumped back in.

Maybe, they should of 'acted' earlier but failed to do so. They should have 'defaulted' account after 3 missed payments (see what their T and C's say). Don't focus on the Default, get the SAR info from them.
