Hi thank you for reading. I am selling my house and there are charging orders on it. I have been able to track down two creditors and get details for my solicitors to pay the charges from completion funds however there is one in the name of Lloyds/black horse for 8k. Lloyds say it’s nothing to do with them they sold the debt in 2012 to The Insolvency Exchange who in turn say they sold to a company called Grove. I cannot speak to anyone at The insolvency exchange only email. I really need to be able to pay this charge in order to sell house. My question is will I be able to get it lifted or cancelled ? Is the original debt satisfied because Lloyds sold it? The new creditor is not registered as the owner of the charge on LR so presumably they didn’t apply to have it registered in their name. I have never had any communication regarding this debt since 2009… is this a misuse of my data ? Please help I am very near exchange of contracts and this is holding my sale up
