  • The Skinny Food Co using legal threats

    Hello

So without going into to much details, The Skinny Food Co has been sending out of date food to customers as well as long delivery waits even after express is paid and for some not even receiving goods, there was also customers with missing items not replaced or refunded, so customers and ex employees started joining this group on facebook where everyone could share their experience as many had their reviews removed or flagged on trustpilot as well as them removing their facebook review section due to many complaints. My question now is can a Co-Founder

use your name, address and email and share with a lawyer due to them wanting this facebook group removed?

is it ok for a Co-Founder to email threats of legal action or basically saying take down the group or illegal action will be taken?

is it ok for a Co-Founder to say (they are basically friends with their local police station) as a threat?

what about continued emails to one person who left the group and was not commenting anything, can he still continue to email her?

what about the Co-Founder coming on the group and mentioning ex business partners and ex employees basically calling them out?

Not sure what the big issue is. If you guys have got evidence of what you're saying then the co-founder and their lawyer can threaten to do anything they like because its true.

If there is an issue with out of date food being sent then maybe customers or ex-employees should report this to the Food Standards Agency (link here)

Disparaging remarks or statements that are not true or can't be backed up will likely land you in hot water from a legal perspective.
If you have a question about the voluntary termination process, please read this guide first, as it should have all the answers you need. Please do not hijack another person's thread as I will not respond to you
