Hi, we bought a car, they gave us all the paperwork they had, but no V5 slip. We applied for one, and DVLA said, car had been exported! We were unaware of this. We have tried to fill in all the forms DVLA have sent, and they keep coming up with more obstacles. Can we sue the seller as he's sold us a car that is an export?

You are obviously a reasonable person. Is there a trade organisation you could complain to ?..Legal advice from A.A or R.A.C ?
I agree with your stance. However, can you give value of specific financial loss ?
This is an excellent site but for motoring I suggest looking at Honest John forum.
