  • Contract Cancellation Clause

    Can anyone advise if this contract cancellation clause is valid

    I have been looking at CCR 2013 and looking into the detail in Part 3, sections 27-38, and this cancellation clause does not seem right to me
    especially as it doesn't contain any details concerning the effects for example of cancellation, this would appear to be illegal, and apparently the consequences to the contract
    owner can result in criminal charges. There appear to be other elements also missing aligned to the Model produced as a variety of clauses seem to be missing.

    I would welcome your thoughts;

    Are you also Cpl Morgan? That poster asked this question about this very text within the last few hours.

    If not, why have you posted the same question about the same text, identical including typographical errors?

      Yes, I deleted my saved password and couldn't for the life of me remember my password, so couldn't login to check to see if I had any replies. Decided to try logging in with an old account which worked so posted the same question, why is there a problem?

        Well, for a start, you had already asked the question under your Morgan username. Also, I feel uncomfortable when someone posts under a number of names without making this clear, as you might have done.

          Hi David Rid if you have an issue with passwords, you can just email the admin team which I am part of. Would you like me to send you a password reset email for your Cpt Morgan username. It is obviously much better for those providing the advice to know they are communicating with the same OP (original poster).

            Why, we are not in court, my reason was genuine and your response seems unbalanced.
