  • Solicitors demand for money

I have put in a costs application to the courts showing my earnings and offered to pay the claimants and their solicitors monthly? Does the court decide this or can they issue a demand for the monies themselves.

Applications to the court are decided by the court. By making an application, you have asked the court to decide.

I infer that you have been ordered to pay an amount by way of costs, and you are asking to pay by instalments.
Lawyer (solicitor) - retired from practice, now supervising solicitor in a university law clinic. I do not advise by private message.

Litigants in Person should download and read the Judiciary's handbook for litigants in person: https://www.judiciary.uk/wp-content/..._in_Person.pdf
