  • M&S

Good afternoon I didn’t something yesterday at M&S , so I’ve take some things, and put them in the bag and took the tags off because of my daughter which usually she is putting the tags in her mouth so i was trying to sort it out for her health. After that I went outside for the store because I remember to call my mother to see if she is ok but I forgot to pay which is a big deal. Two men with civil clothes aproches me and ask nice to go with them, I’ve ask them if I done something and I can’t remember because I’m to stressed and I forgot. They put me in a room and I took out everything that I was meant to choose and buy they ask me for my address, and( give them from my phone a photo with my passport) and beeing under stress I gave them an old address. They give me a trespass notice and the lady wich took the clothes was speaking with me with a rise and angry voice but the mens 2 civil and the security was polite. I’ve explained that I forgot to pay due beein to stress and I will be more than happy to pay for some of them wich I want. They said that no and they heard all the excuses possible. At the end the security men escort me out and that was. They threatened me with the police and Social Services but no police was involved the only think that they said was to go home and don’t take nothing from somewhere else because I will have big problem. They took me photo with the trespass paper. As well the lady counted the clothes take the clothes and receipt and the only think that she said was that I m not allowed in any M&S and online from them… In this moment do I need to be concerned regarding it?

You will be noticed if you go to M & S again as you will be recorded as someone to watch and may be asked to leave if you do enter any of their stores. This will apply to all M & S stores as your information will be passed om

This is not unreasonable as you were not acting legally, but in a away that you could be arrested. Be thankful that M & S did not take it further

So, you take the tags off, put the things in your bag and walk out of the store, and then give a false address?

I suspect that you have nothing to worry about from M&S, but need to face up to what you did to avoid doing something similar again.

I’ve called the Gp in the morning and wait for an appointment because is not o for myself and everything else. I’m taking steps regarding myself because is not ok. They hand me the trespass notice and nothing more. But they have my id from my passport because they make a photo of it.

But they can take legal action now after they give me the trespass notice? Because the only think that they said was that I’m not allowed in any M&S shops or online in their store. Nothing else

I doubt they will do anything more now. Just make sure that you don't do it again there or anywhere else or you could find that the police would be called and you could be arrested.

Thank you, for a moment I will not go shopping and I’m waiting for the GP because I’m sure something is happening and I cannot concentrate and forgetting things. Thank you very much
