Could someone please give me some advice. I am in the process of taking a sole trader to court for poor workmanship to fence installation. He refuses to provide his current address for serving of papers. I appreciate that he does not legally have to provide address when advertising his business, but I was under the impression that he legally has to disclose an address on quotes and invoices. I have spoken to citizens advice who have informed me this is a criminal breach & they have referred this to Trading Standards but I will not know the outcome. If this is a criminal breach is there any other route I can take or report this matter to and should I refer to this when submitting my court papers. He has only provided email address and phone number on quoote. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
No address provided on quote from sole trader

You can ask for papers to be returned to you for service. You can then serve him personally (or get a process server to do it).Lawyer (solicitor) - retired from practice, now supervising solicitor in a university law clinic. I do not advise by private message.
