Okay, I'm new here and totally expecting to get 'chased out of Dodge' with my question....but I'll ask it anyway!
Could I and fellow like minded businesses/individuals bring either the energy companies and or current government to justice for potential manslaughter/deaths caused by the horrendous energy price increases taking effect at the moment??? Yes I know that I would need proof and how would we get that (don't know yet). But could we, in theory, bring a court case against them?????

Over to you legal beagles to let me know....if technically it would be feasible, what would the next steps be???

    Hi MSSQUEEKY

In theory it is possible, you would need strong evidence that they were directly responsible for deaths through their actions and the deaths could have been avoided had different actions been taken.

vulnerable households cannot be "cut off". I think it would be an impossible task and a waste of time effort and (probably crowdfunded) money, but that is just my opinion!

I don't think it's totally to do with increase in utility bills, it's the cumulative effect of other things too, food, etc (cost of living), but utility bills is the 'driver'.
