Lake debenture

30 years ago my family paid Ł3000 for a debenture of part of a fishing lake. The owner has run the lake down for years and now wants to sell the lake off. Can I refuse to sell ? What should he pay me if I decide to sell ?

A debenture could be in any one of a dozen forms, with different powers. Look to the debenture terms.
