  • Unenforceable Account. What would you do?

Recent I’ve asked new debt collector for information under CCA. They sent letter saying they can’t provided it. Quote: “Until we can supply this, your account is unenforceable. This mean we are not permitted to obtain a CCJ against you. Whilst we cannot pursue legal action, your balance remains outstanding”.

    What would you do?

Ignore them? Start making monthly payments? Write back with ridiculously settlement offer? Something else?

No CCA no pay, if ever they find a compliant CCA then they have a problem even then some CCAs are lacking in facts so see what if ever they come up with, why pay for something that they cannot prove belongs to DCA , by the many of these companies are commission agents not owners by debts of bigger company.

This was my first choice. But I’m not sure how to reply in the future, when they will demand payments

I would reply along the lines of "in that case, please forget it and don't contact me again".

Litigants in Person should download and read the Judiciary's handbook for litigants in person: https://www.judiciary.uk/wp-content/..._in_Person.pdf

I had this same problem, take the advice of MIKE no proof then what is the problem, they admit it is unenforcible.
