    Engage/Marston

    Engage/Marston have sent me a letter on behalf of Lanternuk.com regarding a payment that shows up as settled on my credit file.
    This is an old debt that is settled/satisfied. So how can they chase me for payment?

    Some communications / admin has gone missing somewhere.

    Write to Marston, explain that no money is owing. If they pursue you for money that is not owing, you will take legal action against them for 'harassment' under the Protection from Harassment Act 1997. You can attach screenshots of your Credit File to prove no money is owed.

    Ask them for their full complaints procedure.
