Hi, I did something similar and stupid and was caught stealing in B&Q UK. They took my personal details (Name and address) and took a photo of me. The guy took my mob phone and photographed my address from a bank statement. He said if I gave him my details and address they will not press charges against me. Then he checked my back bag and asked me where have i bought if from and asked for a receipt, and accused me that the back bag is stolen too. I said the bag is mine and it's not stolen and I don't have a receipt to show to him. Then he said that I will receive a letter and I will get banned from all b&q shops. There was no police involved and I left the shop. It has been over a week and no letter received by now. What shall I expect?
