  • Money Claim with just a quote

Is it possible to claim money through money claims online with just a quotation for repair work you are yet to complete? I'm defending myself and the claimant has recently informed me that she hasn't spent any money yet, it is for a quote for repairs she thinks my deceased father's property is responsible for? The case has been escalated from small claims to trial at county court and I am wondering if this is indeed legal, if the claimant hasn't actually spent any money, even though she has stated in the particulars of claim that she 'had to carry out repairs herself'?

One can claim money, but whether or not the claim can be proved on the balance of probabilities is another matter.

Assume you are executor for your father's estate.
You say claim has escalated from small claims to county court. Claims allocated to small claims track are dealt with at county court.

Perhaps more details (especially the full particulars of claim) would be helpful if you want more assistance.
