Mortgage protection insurance had for a lot of years. Came out of work several years ago became carer for family. Claimed they payed for one year mortgage payments. Have been paying ever since. Thought it was full cover and maybe could have a future claim. Realise this won't happen as now don't think I am covered for that. Never had original policy due to the silly mortgage company sending post to my previous address instead of the house I had purchased and already moved into by the time the policy started although all other mortgage documents came to the correct address. I have left it running for this and the fact it's also our life insurance.
The help I need is I am too late to claim ppi. But I don't know how to word a letter to the mortgage company, bank. About getting my payments refunded for all these years it has carried on being paid even though they know I came out of work.
