  • Wrong name on debt

Hi hope someone can help, I received a letter from court saying a debt collector was going for a ccj against me, under the name Jim B*****g, my name is James B*****g, I submitted my evidence saying I was happy to prove my identity and hadn't acknowledged any debt as the name was incorrect. I have just got another letter through from the debt collectors solicitor saying there records show that Jim is residing at my address and the client is confident the debt is correct as is my date of birth, so my question is do they have the right to go after me with the name being incorrect or do I accept it and make arrangements to pay?
    thanks James

Is it your debt? and are you clutching at straws?

Yes it is my debt, not clutching at straws just curious, I’d read that a debt had to be in my correct name to be enforced.

I would assume this would be enforceable and ignore the error.
"Although scalar fields are Lorentz scalars, they may transform nontrivially under other symmetries, such as flavour or isospin. For example, the pion is invariant under the restricted Lorentz group, but is an isospin triplet (meaning it transforms like a three component vector under the SU(2) isospin symmetry). Furthermore, it picks up a negative phase under parity inversion, so it transforms nontrivially under the full Lorentz group; such particles are called pseudoscalar rather than scalar. Most mesons are pseudoscalar particles." (finally explained to a captivated Celestine by Professor Brian Cox on Wednesday 27th June 2012 )
