Today, i did something dumb and decided shoplift a drink and some food (the total of 2 pounds) at Tesco. It was quite early in the morning so not many people was there and i ended up getting caught. As i was walking out the door holding my items the security guy came up to me and said 'have you payed for that?' 'give it here' so i gave him the items and apologised, i even offered to pay as i felt guilty. He then proceeded to say 'its just stupid' 'don't come here again'. My family shops here all the time and im just quite concerned if i could go back with them. He didnt ask for any information about me, not even my name but i was wearing my uniform. I completely understand what i did was wrong and i wont do it again. I'm quite happy with not going back by myself and going to a cheaper store like lidl, just concerned as to if i will be able to go back with my family since they havent got any information about me.
Can you be banned from a shop if you're a minor?
