Can I claim compensation from my next door neighbour for getting scaffoldings installed on my land if notice was given, no information such as date when work wlill be finished ,date they will be brouht down

How unneighbourly!

What is the reason for the scaffolding ie are the building works for maintenance or new build?
In what way does the scaffolding impinge on your life i.e. does it block your pathway, breach your privacy by letting others look into your windows?
