Hi Court claim received

I have received a county court claim for payment of a parking fine that I was assured by Pure Gym the ticket was cancelled.I need to respond to the court within 14 days that I intend to dispute this. do I just send the Response pack back to buy a further 14 days, after speaking with a solicitor the charge is about the same as the claim?

Acknowledge the claim online on day 5 after the issue date, or shortly after, using the details and password on the form. This gives you 33 days to get your defence to the court.
