  • Historic parking fine

Just received County Court claim for parking ticket from 2017. Its raised by DCBL and I'm in a state. I'm 72 years old and haven't driven for a few years although I did have the car in 2017. As it was from a private parking company (UKPC) I was advised to ignore all letters. The cost is now over £300. Please help me

Sounds like you do not have the original documents so:

      SAR to original parking compnay

CPR 31.14 request to DCBL. You want the documents they willbe using in court, in particular the PCN and images of the signs that created the alleged contract.

Oi now have a court letter saying that it has been tracked to small claims court and I will be sent a date. Do I have to do anything it also said that now experts are allowed and I thought that DCBL were experts. Sorry if this is the wrong place fir this but I don't know how to find all my original stuff on the MSE forum

        Thank you

I meant to say no experts are allowed. Sorry but I'm not very familiar with all this and I do appreciate your time

In this context, an expert is an expert witness.

Read carefully what you have received from the court. This will tell you what you must do and the date by which you have to do it.

If you need guidance on any of those things, come back and ask!
