    Hello all,

It's all done. I went to see the dealer today and got the full refund via bank transfer. He notified GOV.UK about the sale online, but don't worry, I was there watching the whole time. I've received the confirmation email so it's all good. All I need to do now is cancel the insurance.

I had some great last minute advice from fellow a LB (Ptilly) who advised me to take photos of all the paperwork before handing it to the dealer. It was a struggle taking photos in a moving car, but definitely worth it in case something happens later on.

Anyway, I'm glad it's all over now and knowing I won't have to catch the bus to work in this weather for much longer is such a relief.

I'm glad I was able to share my success story on this site and maybe help someone else with their case.

    Thank you all again.

Thanks for letting us know. When you buy your next car, pay an amount on your credit card, that will offer more protection.

Were you in the car with Paul? I didn't realise he also ran a taxi service

            That's asking for trouble.
