  • Hi from Yorkshire

Hello all, and yes, whilst my user name is a fell in the Lake District , I live in Yorkshire ! We are in a small village where we have lived for over 20 years. Hoping to read and learn, as well as ask some questions. So I will say thanks in advance to those who give help and guidance here.

Welcome, I've just recently come back from a short break in Ambleside, first time to the lake district and loved the peacefulness.
If you have a question about the voluntary termination process, please read this guide first, as it should have all the answers you need. Please do not hijack another person's thread as I will not respond to you

Thank you for the welcome. The Lakes is an amazing place, first started fell walking there in my 20s. Loughrigg fell is a great direction to take from Ambleside. There's Loughrigg terrace for those who don't want to go to the summit. Pleasant walk from out the back of the park in Ambleside, and you can go along past Rydal Water and Grasmere. Anyway, we digress. But my forum name is because of my love of the area, and Loughrigg Fell in particular has a special place in my heart. A good walk always helps to clear the fuzzy head ( from whatever may have caused it, including some legal wrangle or other !).
