Hello. I have a complex legal issue which has been ongoing for the past three years and more. I joined for some advice as to how to go about certain legal procedures as I have found it impossible to get a solicitor to act on my behalf. These are life destroying issues and have had an extremely negative impact on my life and that of my wife. We really need help.

I will elaborate as much as I can. To enable me to be pointed to the correct forum. whilst about a will this has extended way past probate law. I suppose the first thing I need help with is advice on how to access the bank account of a deceased person. I was told a pre action disclosure could be used. I have no idea what that is or how to initiate that. The situation is that a solicitor and the executor of a will have conspired to destroy and deny a will. I have a set of evidence that points to why this was possible. In an attempt to get the police to investigate, I need to find the payment to the solicitor that wrote my Grandmothers will. I know this happened as she told me she had changed her will six months before her death. she told me which solicitor. This is the first part of what I need advice about. This has become very sinister over the past three years. My own investigation has actually been obstructed by the Police. On several occasions. I will spare you the details. but I would appreciate any advice I can find.

It might be an idea to contact the ICO, they have a online chat facility, they maybe able to advise of any options available to you, to find out 'I need to find the payment to the solicitor that wrote my Grandmothers will.'

Hopefully des8 can help.

ICO were no help. They say the bank account can only be accessed by the executor of her will, but the executor has destroyed and not enacted the will. Plus the executors husband was the manager of the bank that my Grandmother used. GDPR/DPA only applies to living was what the ICO said.

i only now realised it was a consumer forum was all. Thanks. I do have another route. But I am dealing with some extremely dangerous people here and I am not sure whether to push that button. I see how pre action disclosures work now, thanks. I am basically trapped in weird place legally it seems. An NPO may be more useful.Last edited by ubernuka; 18th November 2021, 21:36:PM.
