    Company Law proxy votes

    Can you vote by proxy at any kind of Company meeting or are there some you must attend in person ? If you call a meeting and unforeseen circumstances prevent you being there can you still vote by proxy ? Must the proposed of a motion attend in person ?
    Weird questions but to explain would need a few thousand words !
