  • CP plus parking fine

I have recently recieved a letter from dcb legal who are acting in behalf of CP plus . The letter states that a parking fine has been issued for an illeged over stay at Taunton Deane services back in 2017 . I have never received any correspondence from them prior to July of this year but they are insisting that the fine (£170 ) must be paid by 25th October. I have replied and appealed to their correspondence in July stating that there was no was i would have been at the stated services longer than 15 minutes .....can anyone advise on my situation ??
    Thankyou in advance

It's not a fine, it's a claim for an alleged breach of contract

Is the letter entitled "Letter before Claim" or similar?

Send a SAR to CP Plus to get all the paperwork they allege. Letter to DCBL requiring copies of all the documents they will be using in court in order to narrow the issues between you as expected by the courts and in compliance with the PAP
